When I tell you my Granny made a MESS in my kitchen today… I mean she REALLY slung pasta sauce every which way! 🤭😂🍅

We only managed to get 50 pounds of tomatoes processed today. Hopefully, over the next two days, we can finish this saucy little project and get homemade pasta sauce in your pantries!! ❤️🍝

Stay tuned… my kitchen is a MESS, but something delicious is coming out of it! 😂🍅

Granny and I just picked up 150 pounds of beautiful Roma tomatoes, and tomorrow we’ll be turning them into homemade, canned pasta sauce! ❤️🍝

It’s a beautiful day, but a sad day in the garden. 🌱💔

I pulled up all of our green bean plants today. They didn’t survive the flood. Our watermelon plants also died, and while these watermelons look beautiful on the outside, the inside never had the chance to ripen. 🍉

What’s still hanging on are our tomatoes, peppers, and carrots. 🍅🫑🌶️🥕 This was our best-looking garden yet, which makes it such a bummer to see so much of it lost to the flood.

But I’m thankful for what remains and praying these last crops get the chance to ripen and give us a little more harvest. 🙏🏼

Thank You, Jesus, for the opportunity to plant, tend, grow, and harvest from this dirt. There is something so special about watching what You’ve created grow right before our eyes. 🤎🌱

Even in the loss, there is still so much to be thankful for. 🌻
