Hi, we have lots of organic fuerte avos available for sale. They dropped and were picked up today. We are an organic farm located in Fallbrook and usually sell our avos $1.25/piece.
There will be total 36 mixed sizes, 2 limes and fresh cilantro 🌿 in a box for $20 (usually over $36). I think it’s the best deal in the town. Some of them are somewhat soft and a little bruised, but they will make great guacamole 🥑.
There are 4 boxes available to pick up today. First come first served. We have organic pomelos available for $1.25 each.
We take Venmo or cash.

I bought 1 gallon potted “Martinenca Rimada” a year ago. This fig starts off looking much like a tiger fig. As it ripens, it turns into a rainbow of colors and finally settles to be rich deep purple. This fig did not disappoint me at all. It grows well and tastes amazing too! It makes me somewhat proud 🥹 I guess I took really good care of it! It may not make it this season but next year it should be in your assorted mixed fig! #イチジク #カリフォルニア #フォールブルック

After 5 long years of waiting, we finally brewed coffee from our own trees. It is a tedious process making it. We love coffee but now we have a greater appreciation for the hard work that goes into making it 😅 #コーヒーのある暮らし

Just finished harvesting our fresh figs at our little farm here in Fallbrook. We have plenty of them available today. Please dm me to pick up some today! There are several varieties that are hard to find at the store or elsewhere! They come in all different sizes, colors, and flavors. They are grown organically, so eat them with the skin on for better health!

I think this white Genoa deserves to receive the best fruit of the month award 🥇. It is bigger than a 🎾! If you haven’t tried our mixed variety of fresh figs, you are missing out! They are grown organically with lots of love and sunshine in Fallbrook! The season has just begun 🤗.

Snap shots of our summer garden. We always have something in season. When we see bitter melons and pears, we feel like summer is here. Our figs are thriving too. There are only a few a day so far, but it won’t be too long until we have tons of them.

I found this cute clay pot, Schlemmertopf, at a local antique shop quite some time ago. Finally I was able to bake my sourdough with it since my oven is back working again 😅. It came out pretty good! I just wanted to share my happiness with you all! Yay 😁

Canning was totally a new thing for me, but I learned how to do it without much of the hassle. The key is to set all the gear up! I now can make big batches of jam two days in a row! I made apricot jam and strawberry-rhubarb jam!

Yes, summer peaches 🍑 are finally ripening! Birds always get to eat the best ones but they leave some good ones for us humans too. They will only be available for a short time!

What would you do if you had lots of apples 🍎? Well, I usually make apple fillings and fresh apple juice. This year I am going to try making apple cider vinegar using apple scraps. Nothing to be wasted in my farm kitchen😂

Our early summer crops are here. Tree-ripened, freshly picked stone fruit are the best! They are so juicy, sweet and crisp! One of my favorite flowers “hydrangeas” are blooming and so beautiful!

We grow various varieties of lavenders to mainly feed our 🐝 and also for its lovely scent and color. This lavender basket is easy to make and is filled with thick fragrance which will hold up well for sometime 😊

It feels like summer already lately here in southern CA. Our plants are catching up with this warm weather and thriving happily. You probably heard me complaining about the tons of work it is to take care of them 😂, but afterwards I feel so rewarded to have fresh seasonal fruit, veggies, herbs and beautiful flowers to enjoy year round ☺️

We have had a kefir lime tree for years but we didn’t know what to do with it besides adding it to my Thai curry. Well, today I decided to try something new! I chopped some rosemary, oregano and fresh kefir lime leaves, then roasted with nuts! The leaves have some lemony flavor and it turned out to be pretty good 👍

A great rainy day project at home is to make lavender sachets. I had a bagful of dried flowers from last summer. I add a couple of sachets to the dryer when I do laundry. It produces a lovely scent!

We have several plants that voluntarily come back every year. They grow rapidly and spread like weeds in our heavily mulched yard. Here are some edible ones that I look forward to harvesting this time of the year.

There are many things that I am so thankful for. I now can walk to my garden without crutches to discover these beautiful strawberries 🍓 and golden berries, which still thrive despite being neglected for the last 4 months due to my foot fracture. Our kitchen remodel is also finally coming along! Yay 😁 There are so many things that we should not take for granted… We all should appreciate what we have!

We had a pretty good harvest of macadamia nuts this season. I never knew that raw macadamia nuts were so sweet, but we all love the roasted ones for sure. We planted a tiny seedling a few years back. It is fast growing and needs very little maintenance. We are planning on planting one more soon. BTW they are very labor intensive to prepare to eat! You need the help of a mighty machine like this one.

The last batch of hachiya persimmons this year at our farm are cleaned, peeled, hung in the fall sunshine to dry, to become very sweet “干柿” dried persimmons. Every year is a challenge but this year was the toughest, dealing with dense fog. Hopefully they will be on your table to enjoy soon! #干柿 #アメリカで干し柿

Breaking my foot didn’t stop me from my weekly sourdough baking routine. It only added more volume and varieties to share with my good friends! I believe that milling my own flour makes the bread more flavorful!

Hachiya persimmons are very astringent when unripe, but they become so sweet and delicious if you give them a little time to ripen naturally. You can eat it with a spoon, or how we love to eat it, mix with some yogurt, a bit of cinnamon, and ginger.

We hand-pollinated our cherimoyas this year and that made a huge difference in production! If you haven’t tried ripe cherimoyas, you should give them a try!

We preserve our abundant seasonal harvest. One good way is to dehydrate them and they came out really well! We made some with guavas, fuyu persimmons and feijoas. The only problem is that they are too yummy to save some for later. #

Our new recipe “Baked fuyu persimmons” is so delicious! All you have to do is to bake at 390F for 20 min or so. It tastes like baked sweet potatoes 🍠 for some reason?! You should try it too! You can jazz it up with butter and cinnamon 😋 Enjoy!
