This Friday’s After Hours event has been rescheduled for Friday October 23rd! Just a week’s weather delay!

October has the best apples, and picking is far from over. We expect Pick Your Own to be open into November!! Just remember to pay attention to orchard signage during your visit, as many rows of earlier ripening varieties have already been picked clean! The weather can impact hours!! Always call our daily info line before your trip: 603-335-4705

Our crew loves to pick over 42,000 pounds of apples every year that our friends at Giles Family Farm grind and squeeze into c***r for us. The apples destined for sweet c***r will be available for you within a week. Look for pints, half gallons and gallon size jugs in the Farmstand fridge. Meanwhile the apples destined for hard c***r are stored and fermented in small batches throughout the winter! These apples show up in your tasting room glass, growler, can or bottle beginning in May of 2027 at the Butternut Farm C***rhouse

A freshened up Today’s Picks board for the first full week in October! Look at all those varietal options! Notable recent additions include Ashmeads Kernal, Snow Sweet, Jonagold, Empire, pink Lady and there are more yet to ripen!!

It’s definitely apple season now! October ripening apples are the best of the season so come enjoy the orchards and harvest with us, we should be picking into November!

The Nor’easter at The Nut photo contest results are in, twice counted and peer reviewed.
Thank you everyone who entered photos, we really enjoyed seeing your adventures and a big thank you to all that visited over the Nor’easter weekend. Your grit is inspiring!

There was a tie for first between:
Hannah - with Lala’s and Papa’s facial expressions setting her photo apart!
And
Carissa - who captured a moment of crazy determination to win at all costs!

There is a jug of c***r and twelve donuts waiting for each of you here at the farm!

Honorary mention for creative effort to Kaia! There is a six pack of donuts waiting for you!

Lots of harvest yet to go here, too many apple varieties to list, plenty of pumpkins, hard c***r/donuts and sweet c***r will be here for the picking thru the end of October!

Butternut After Hours is locked in for Friday October 16th! Apple and pumpkin picking, food trucks, Chad and Jed on music, and our awesome team will of course be serving hard c***r.
