Behind Tennemo Rice are men who know what it means to put in long hours, take pride in their work & keep showing up for their family, their farm, and the people who count on them. We made a trip to Cordelia's Market in Memphis, TN to deliver several cases of rice & y’all… this place is every bit as cute as it looks! Tucked among the prettiest homes and apartments, it’s the kind of neighborhood market that makes you wish you lived right around the corner 😍

And the staff? As friendly as could be! We loved getting to meet them and are so excited to have Tennemo Rice on their shelves!

Another little piece of Tennessee is now in Georgia! 🌾

We’re proud to welcome Luttrell Farm as our newest retailer! They tried our rice, loved it, and decided to make it part of their farm stand & we couldn’t ask for a better introduction than the kind words they shared below.

Well, I sure didn’t! 😂

Recently, the folks at Tennemo Rice Family Farm & Mill in Tennessee reached out to introduce us to the rice they grow and mill right here in the USA!

They were kind enough to send us some samples, and let me tell you… we loved it! ❤️

I was so excited about their story and their product that I knew I wanted to bring it to our farm stand.

Their rice is perfect for everything from a good old-fashioned chicken and rice supper to casseroles, soups, and all those comforting Southern dishes we love.

But what makes this even more special to me is knowing that when you purchase a bag, you’re supporting another American farming family.

That’s something I think is worth celebrating. ❤️

At Luttrell Farm, we believe in supporting local agriculture and the hardworking families who help put food on our tables. And while we can’t grow everything ourselves, we love finding other farmers who share that same passion.

Happy National Farmers Day! 🌾🚜

There’s a lot to be proud of in agriculture. According to the American Farm Bureau Federation, one U.S. farm feeds an average of 183 people each year— a reminder of how far the work we do right here at home can reach.

Here at Tennemo Rice & Schultz Brothers Farms, our rice and corn harvests are complete & we’re working to finish the beans. Seeing a crop through from planting to harvest is something we never take for granted and we’re thankful for the people who make it possible.

To our fellow farmers, happy National Farmers Day! Whether you’re raising livestock or bringing in the last of your crops, we’re proud to be part of this community with you! And to everyone choosing farm grown products like ours, thank you for giving our work a place at your table 🌾 🤎

🌾 Fresh Jasmine Rice 🌾

We’re thankful to have this year’s rice harvest finished ahead of the weather. Even if the storms miss us, we’re glad we didn’t take that chance!!

Past hurricanes have taught us just how quickly a crop can change. When wind lays rice flat on the ground, harvesting becomes a slow, difficult process— sometimes only 5–7 acres a day.

There’s a lot of hard work and relief behind that last load. We’re grateful to have this crop safely out of the field!
