Saturday will be the last U-Pick of the year. The flowers are still looking good for Saturday.

We will be donating 100% of all of Saturdays flower sales to the American Cancer Society! Stop out and pick a beautiful bouquet and know that your money is going to a great cause.

We will be open 11-4

We will be open for private picks by appointment until the flowers give up for the season.

The Bakeshop will be OPEN this Saturday, September 12th at 9 AM, and I’m getting everything ready for another wonderful day for you all!

And I’m especially excited that Golden Petal Flower Farm will be joining us with the most beautiful fresh flower bouquets! 💐🌻

Fresh sourdough, sweet treats, and a beautiful bouquet to take home… sounds like a pretty perfect Saturday morning to me. 🥰

Because I’ve learned firsthand that when you’re going through a difficult season, opening the mailbox and finding something that was sent JUST FOR YOU can mean more than the sender may ever know.

So, we’ve created The Golden Petal Project Post — a monthly mailing thoughtfully created to bring a little love, encouragement, connection, or sunshine to someone’s mailbox.

It might be for someone you love.
Someone you’re grateful for.
Someone who could use a little encouragement.
Or someone going through a season when they simply need to know they’re not alone.

And there will even be a way to Sponsor a Project Post for someone who needs one.💛

Because this isn’t just about what’s all inside the envelope.

Before I tell you about the new project coming to Golden Petal Flower Farm, I want to show you this.

These are the cards that carried me through one of the hardest seasons of my life.

Over the past year, as many of you know, I navigated my own battle with Endometrial Cancer.

There were months of treatment (chemo and radiation), appointments, uncertainty, and plenty of days that were just plain hard.

But there were also these!
💛Cards from family.
💛Cards from friends.
💛Cards from people who wanted me to know they were thinking about me.

I kept them.

And eventually, they filled the walls of my living room.

Each time I walked into this room, I saw them.

I was loved.
I was remembered.
I wasn’t alone.

And honestly, those card lifted my spirits more than the people who sent them may ever know.

Today, I’m incredibly grateful to say that I’m in remission.💛

But I haven’t forgotten what those cards meant to me throughout my journey.

That experience planted a seed in my heart. I wanted to pay that feeling forward and make it easy for others to send that exact same light to the people they love.

That’s why something new is blooming behind the scenes at Golden Petal Flower Farm.

It’s called THE GOLDEN PETAL PROJECT POST.

And it’s my way of taking something that meant so much to me and helping send that feeling forward.

Because sometimes a little piece of mail isn’t just a card.

Sometimes it’s a reminder that someone cares.
