Are you getting excited about deer season, we are. Lance has made some great changes that will benefit everyone. He and David have the shop sparkling clean! He and David will be making the Lander original breakfast sausage, a recipe that Earnest has used for over 50 years. There are also some changes coming in other areas that our hunters will appreciate. We welcome Ray and Jimmy back as well! Wishing each of our hunters a safe and hearty season!!!

Looking forward to another exciting Hunting Season. This year we will be under new management. Many of you may know that Earnest Lander has ALS, known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

So beginning this season, his son, Lance Lander, will be running and managing the shop. Lance has extensive experience with processing, from working with his dad. Many of you will know Lance from when he managed the Pawn Shop. David Garcia will also be returning from 5pm to 8pm, making the breakfast sausage that he was famous for, along with directing complete cleaning procedures each day.

Ray Smith, along with Jimmy, will also be returning to open each morning to butcher and take orders. And we hope that Earnest can show up occasionally to greet customers.

We are extremely appreciate of all of our help, who are indeed the backbone of our business.

This is a huge change for our family, but we are dedicated in honoring Earnest’s commitment to this business. We will continue to honor Earnest’s processing motto, if you are happy with your experience, tell all your friends, if you are not happy with it, tell us!!! We will work hard to make it right!
