New location alert! We’re very excited to begin distribution to our friends just to the south of Genola. The Gilman Coop Creamery is the newest addition to our family of retailers! They will have all three flavors, Original, Garlic and Jalapeño and pickles arrive today!

Exciting things on the horizon! So, you know our garage that sits directly next to the Rooster? Well, what has been the garage since Hup built the new Rooster building in 1999 is no longer going to be our garage. What are we up to now? Electrical work has begun on our new dedicated commercial kitchen for Red Rooster Horseradish Pickles! With the expansion into our seventh retail location this week, we’re needing a much larger space before we can expand into our planned distribution routes!

What’s a brand new page without a little content, so let’s get to creating! I figured what better way to break in the new page, than do a retailer spotlight! Here we go…

As we first got the pickle business up and running, I received a random email from Frank over at Milaca Meats. If you’ve never met Frank, just think “Chris Stapleton vibes” and you’ll get close. We immediately made a plan to get them into the shop and they’ve sold extremely well ever since!

Milaca Meats has not been a player in the meat market game all that long, with owners Sam and Alexis opening their doors for business in spring of 2025. That being said, they didn’t waste any time establishing that business. Milaca is certainly one of, if not the top seller for our pickles and we appreciate the partnership!
