I'd like to thank everybody who came out to cut some lavender. Unfortunately, we have to end the free cutting. I had a gentlemen come-by and buy the remaining harvest. He will be here tomorrow to finish cutting.
Thanks again

If you're looking for something to do this weekend, please come out to the farm and cut lavender. It's free!!

The lavender needs to be cut and with my fall last year, I simply cannot get into the fields and get it cut. I hate to see it go to waste so come-out and cut as much as you want.

Please just cut the flower stems and not the bush. You'll need scissors and some rubber bands.

Place the stems in clean water for about seven days. Then place the stems on a paper towel to dry for a week or 10 days and brush of the dry buds. You can keep the buds in a sock or pantyhose for one to two years and the buds will let out scent every time it's moved or rustled around.

People have asked me how fast a Bonino Machine can cut lavender. Here is a good example of the work that can be done by the best machine on the planet!
