We now have a lot more farm animals, a greenhouse and even a small business making goat milk soaps.

Kenley took Niña 🐴 for a ride around the farm last night while Addie 🐕 and I walked. Mattis 🐕 had a run in with the electric fence ⚡️ while running around in the cattle pasture. I just love evenings in the farm and how beautiful it is.

We have a 2 pounder! 🍅 this the biggest tomato so far this year.

The garden is wild this time year and I’m tomato hunting in the greenhouse today. Our big tomatoes are just starting to ripen.

It is however a beautiful night to be out on the front porch with the crickets,frogs and an occasional donkey singing their tune so I can’t complain.

Welcome to Cimino Farm Duke!

Duke is a ADCA registered Dexter Bull that just turned 1 year old and came to us from an awesome farm just across the state line in Minnesota. I was so thankful to be able to chat with his previous owners. They gave us so much great information about Dexters.

We toured their farm and got to see their herd of 22 Dexters.

The garden is starting to produce!

We have reached the time of the year where a trip to the garden means you come back to the house carrying a shirt full of vegetables. I absolutely love that feeling. 🥒 🧄 🫜

This mama duck and I are at an impasse; she won’t let me get a cute video of the adorable duckling she has hiding under her. I let her take over my raised herb bed to make a nest for the last month. She destroyed my chives, oregano, mint and basil. I feel like she owes me!

Meet Clara Belle and Lou! These girls are the newest additions to Cimino Farm. Clara Belle and Lou are Dexter cattle and are the start of our small beef herd.

As a smaller sized dual-purpose breed, Dexters excel in both beef and dairy production. As a bonus both Clara Belle and Lou possess A2A2 milk genetics 🥛
