Some snapshots our garden walk this morning 📸

We should have cucumbers very soon! 🥒

We picked 4 heads of broccoli 🥦 and there are a few more we left for another day or so.

Looks like I may not get very many elderberries before the birds wipe them all out 🤦‍♀️🐦 I need to get my owl 🦉 decoy set up!

We noticed some strawberries 🍓 blueberries 🫐 and blackberries were ready to pick so we did that until it got too hot… it’s in full sun ☀️

Now we can relax under the shade tree and admire our little harvest. We are trying so hard to eat what is in season. It’s more difficult than you would think 🥴

Summer time is fast approaching!! 🥵☀️

Mud… so much mud…. and more mud to come 😵‍💫 but at least we got my holding pen cleared out for Sally and the chicken runs out of standing mud. Until the next downpour 🫣🤦‍♀️

In case you were wondering how it’s going around here…. mud… mud and more mud. We are working it like you would wet concrete 🤦‍♀️ it’s a mess around here. My garden is loving the rain, the farm yard, not see much 🥴🤦‍♀️

I’ve never made these before so we will see how they taste in a few weeks 🤗🥚🫑🌶️

I added bell pepper, jalapeño, crawfish boil seasoning and a vinegar/water brine 💦

This morning was perfect weather for dew**ding the garden. The ground is so soft that the w**ds pull right up. Even the ones with those darn deep roots like that goosefoot and pig w**d 🤦‍♀️ We also got in some mud therapy 😄 Weeding and grounding all at the same time 🫶
