I won’t be at the market tomorrow but Ori will be in our usual spot with all her delicious produce!

Almost done weighing and packing all of this fresh from the garden. Early A.M. me and Shawn will be headed to the Downtown Glenwood Farmers Market tomorrow, for almost the last time... (Sat July 25th is the last one)! Here's what you can find from me:

🌿 Just Two Markets Left! 🌿

Well, the Downtown Glenwood Farmers Market is winding down for the season!

That means we only have two Saturdays left to see you:
🧺 July 18
🧺 July 25 (our final market of the season)

The Arkansas heat is settling in, our garden is slowing down... and so are we! 😊 But don't worry—we'll be loaded up with fresh produce and plenty of duck eggs for these last two market Saturdays, so come stock up while you can!

✳️We also wanted to let everyone know that Sharp Top Acres won't be with us this Saturday. If you have milk jars to return or would like information on how to pre-order milk directly from the farm, just stop by the Caney Hollow Homestead booth. We'll be happy to hook you up.
❇️If you are coming out to pick up milk in the future, you can pre-order eggs and veggies from me and pick them up when you get your milk.

After the market wraps up at the end of July, we'll be shifting gears around the homestead—getting the kids homeschool started, putting up the rest of the garden harvest, and planning for our favorite season of the whole year...deer season! "Fall" who....its deer season...not "fall"?! 😂

📢 Market Update from Sharp Top Acres 🌾🐄

❌We will not be at the farmers market this weekend. However, Caney Hollow Homestead will be there in our usual spot with a great selection of fresh, homegrown produce! 🍆🥒🍅🌶️🫑

🫙If you have one of our milk jars and no longer wish to purchase milk, Caney Hollow Homestead will be happy to refund your jar deposit at the market.

🥛If you’d like to purchase more milk, please send us a message to arrange pickup at the farm or at our new mechanic shop just outside of Glenwood—whichever is most convenient for you.

🐾 Meet Chupa, the newest farm hand at Sharp Top Acres! 🤎

We found Chupa dumped on the side of our dirt road with a severe case of demodectic mange — the non-contagious kind, before anybody gets worried 😅. She was in such rough shape that she pretty much slept for four days straight.

And yes… Chupa is short for Chupacabra 😂 because if we’re being fair, that’s exactly what she looked like when we found her.

After several weeks of antibiotics, good food, lots of sleep, and probably more love than she knew what to do with, she’s now perfectly healthy and has appointed herself Head of Farm Security. 🫡🐾

She takes her job very seriously…😂

From roadside Chupacabra to protector of Sharp Top Acres — I’d say she landed herself a pretty good gig. 🤎🐾
