We’ve been working on our Black Copper Marans line since 2017.
Each year we have different things we want to focus on. The past couple years, we’ve been working hard towards improving our dark and bloomy BCM egg colors.
Lots of purples in the making!!!💜
We are loving the results!🥰🌸

We have extra Chicks available for pick up or ✈️.

~We have a few 1 week old BCM
They look like possible cockerels.

Our first ever surprise pasture pumpkin!!!🎃🌱

Transplanting it was a breeze. We just made sure we dug up the roots deep enough when we replanted it. We watered it twice a day for about two weeks until we could see that it was taking well. Then we continued to water it once a day.
Yay!!!

We thought this was going to be a gourd so we trained it to climb which turned out to be a bad idea. It still grew well, and thank goodness never broke off the vine. 🙏

We have a bunch more pumpkins growing that we sprouted from seeds. We started them a little late in the season so we will probably harvest them in September/October.
We can always put them to good use.
The chickens and goats love them!

Our Ameraucanas just enjoyed a nice refreshing drink on this hot summer day. Now they are having fun in the yard foraging for yummy snacks.

We opened up some availability for Ameraucana Chicks and hatching eggs on the website.

We found a couple of these growing in the Goats outside area. At first, we were wondering why the goats didn’t eat them but then we did a little research and we figured out why.

They were dug up and removed. We relocated them into our garden so they could continue to grow.
