HAPPY SUNDAY, FOLKS!!! 🎉🙌

Everyone is tucked in, and I snuck away to celebrate my little sister’s birthday! 🎂 Meanwhile, Boss Man is FINALLY taking a much-needed R&R day and watching the Vikings WIN! 🏈💜 SKOL!!!

Speedy, on the other hand, has yet to decide if he’s happy about his human parents moving back into HIS house. 😂 Pretty sure he was living his BEST life with the house to himself, sprawled out in the big bed, watching cartoons, and answering to absolutely NOBODY. Now the freeloaders are back. 🙄🐾

And just like that… **HARVEST 2026 IS IN THE BOOKS!!!** 🌽🚜🎉

Boss Man did EVERYTHING he possibly could. We pushed, we hustled, we fought the breakdowns, and we battled the fields. But Mother Nature? That woman was an ABSOLUTE BITCH this year. No manners. No mercy. ZERO STARS. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. 🤬🌧️

But we got it DONE!!!

Now it’s time to catch our breath, regroup, and start planning for next year… because apparently, we have short-term memory loss and will willingly sign up for this circus all over again. 🤣🤦‍♀️

First off, THANK YOU for following along, reading my crazy posts, and putting up with my daily farm-life novels. 😂❤️ I appreciate every single one of you!

BUT ON TO THE BEST NEWS EVER…….

🎉 **HARVEST 2026 IS OFFICIALLY DONE!!!!** 🎉

With some extra muscle from Ryan Krabbenhoft keeping Dragon moving all day, and of course my AMAZING Pops doing what Pops does best, WE GOT IT DONE!!! 🙌

And today?? It went so smoothly that we didn’t have a SINGLE issue. Not one. ZERO. NADA. AMEN, HALLELUJAH, AND SOMEBODY POUR ME A DRINK!!! 🍻😂

After the hydraulic leaks, broken parts, golden piles, and enough farm shenanigans to fill a Netflix series… WE SURVIVED. 🤣

**NOW FOR THE REAL REWARD…**

🚨 **NO ALARMS TOMORROW!!!** 🚨

Granted, the Boss Man will probably be up with the chickens because apparently sleeping in is against his religion. 🐓😂

But THIS GIRL? I will be collecting every last precious ZZZ I can get my hands on. DO NOT DISTURB. I AM OFFICIALLY CLOSED FOR BUSINESS. 😴🙌

Tonight’s agenda: a celebratory b**r 🍺, MN Wild hockey 🏒, and soaking in the glorious feeling of having NOTHING that needs harvesting tomorrow.

Then a few hours of well-earned rest during the Vikings game. 🏈🤣

WELL, COW POKES!!! 🤠🌽

After a little delay because apparently 2026 harvest wasn’t done testing our patience, we rallied and knocked out ANOTHER FIELD! 💪🚜 Over 30 loads of corn hauled to the elevator and home bins. Just casually moving a small mountain of corn. No big deal. 🙄🌽

Pops even got some much-needed relief with a SECOND DRIVER so we don’t completely wear the man out. I mean, HE’S 79!!! 😂❤️ We love him, but we’re not trying to run him into the ground before we can pack him in our carry-on for winter getaway season!

Got the semi and trailer back, finished the night in the field, and were rewarded with one absolutely BEAUTIFUL Minnesota sky. 🌅❤️ Every once in a while, Mother Nature reminds us why we put up with all this nonsense.

Then it was home to bake bread and make homemade strudels for tomorrow because apparently harvesting all day isn’t enough. We also need to run a full-blown bakery out here. 👩‍🍳😂

**THE PLAN FOR TOMORROW:** Make one BIG push and knock out the LAST TWO FIELDS so we can hopefully have a LAZZZZZY SUNDAY!!! 🙌

Fingers crossed, prayers said, machinery PLEASE behave, and nobody get any bright ideas about breaking down. 🤞🚜

You're getting an EARLY update today because, for once, I'm sitting on my butt while the Boss Man has to go pick up our *addition muscle man* for the day. 😂

Things were rolling along SOOOO GOOD. We were trucking right along, chomping corn, making progress, and actually starting to see the light at the end of this never-ending harvest tunnel. Being DONE TOMORROW was literally within our fingertips!!! 🤏🙌

**AND THEN… BECAUSE WHY THE HELL NOT?!** 🤦‍♀️💩

While taking in one of our semi loads, the air bag decides it's had ENOUGH of this harvest bu****it and calls it quits. 💥🙄

BECAUSE APPARENTLY, WE WERE GETTING A LITTLE TOO COCKY THINKING THINGS MIGHT ACTUALLY GO ACCORDING TO PLAN!!! 😂😂

So here we are. Another day, another breakdown, another unexpected plot twist in the never-ending saga of the Wacky Farm Chronicles.

BUT CHIN UP, BUTTERCUPS!!! 💪🌽

We've come too far to let a little air bag drama take us down now! We'll regroup, get the extra muscle on board, and keep plugging away.

Another productive day here at the Wackys! Another field knocked out with JUST THE THREE AMIGOS! 💪🌽 Who needs a full crew when you’ve got questionable amounts of caffeine, stubbornness, and a whole lot of determination?! 😂

And a BIG shout-out to my Pops! ❤️ Seriously, I am SO THANKFUL for that man and everything he does for us. He just keeps showing up and helping us get this harvest across the finish line. 🥹❤️

I *might* just have to sneak him into my carry-on for our winter getaway. ✈️😂 Sorry, airlines… he’s considered essential equipment at this point!

Meanwhile, Mother Nature delivered another beautiful Minnesota day, and my beast-mode tractor is STILL HOLDING ONTO ITS HYDRAULIC FLUID!!! 🙌🎉

**SOMEBODY ALERT THE MEDIA!!!** 😂😂

Another day. Another field. And every day, that finish line gets a little closer. We're not saying we're getting excited… but we can practically taste the freedom! 🤣🤞

But honestly, underneath all the chaos, the breakdown anxiety, the questionable machinery, and the occasional farm-life vocabulary that probably shouldn't be repeated in public… ❤️

Well folks… we made it to Wednesday. Barely. 😂

I promised I’d keep this one **short and sweet** because apparently my recent posts have turned into full-blown novels. Sorry about that. 🤷‍♀️

But in my defense…

**A LOT. IS. HAPPENING.** 😂

The **3 Amigos** are still out there chomping away at the corn 🌽 like they have absolutely nothing better to do. The sun is bright, it’s warm, and the wind is whipping like it has a personal vendetta against us.

And you know what?

**I’M NOT EVEN COMPLAINING.**

Why, you ask?

Because…

🥁🥁🥁

**MY TRACTOR IS STILL HOLDING ITS OIL!!!!** 🎉🎉🎉

YES. YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY.

At this point, we have officially lowered the bar so far that **“the tractor hasn’t leaked all its oil onto the ground”** qualifies as excellent news. 😂🚜

Forget birthdays. Forget Christmas.

**THIS is what dreams are made of.**

Well, **Tip Top Tuesday, y’all!** 🌽😎

The sun was bright, the temps were warm, and we got things rolling… or should I say **VACUUMING!** 😂

Got that golden pile cleaned up and—**WAIT FOR IT…** 🥁

🎉 **WE FINISHED BEAN HARVEST 2026!!!** 🎉

One less thing on the “please don’t break” list! ✔️😂

Then we opened up the ends on the remaining corn 🌽 fields. Some showed promise… others were more along the lines of **“well, that’s unfortunate.”** 🤦‍♀️😂

But the end is near, folks! The finish line is finally starting to look a little less like a mirage and a little more like an actual possibility. 🙌

Well… let’s just call this **MONDAY.** 😂

Started the day thinking, *“This should be an easy one.”* Just a few loads of corn 🌽 to fill Mama Bin, then flip back over and finish up the 🫘. The bean field was supposed to be the laid-back part of the day… just casually hauling beans to the elevator and calling it good.

**Then reality walked in and slapped me right across the face.** 🤦‍♀️😂

We’ve been fighting a mysterious hydraulic leak on the tractor. Not really sure where it’s coming from, but apparently it has places to be because **it’s definitely going somewhere.** 😳

The hydraulic battle continued today to the point where it became a little concerning. And, naturally, even the pros are standing around scratching their heads like, *“Hmmm… that’s interesting.”* 🤷‍♀️

So that put me down for a few hours and delayed things.

**BUT WAIT… THERE’S MORE!** 😂

We also had another little timeout when the combine decided it wanted to eat **dirt instead of beans.** Because apparently beans weren’t filling enough. 🙄

So we scooped dirt out of the combine… **my favorite part, obviously.** 😂

And because apparently we weren’t having enough fun, one of the baby bins decided it no longer believed in the whole “holding corn” concept. 🌽🤦‍♀️

So now we have another mess to clean up.

At this point, Monday has officially submitted its application for Most Annoying Day of Harvest. 😂

BUT… despite all the breakdowns, mysteries, dirt, corn and general farm shenanigans…

We’re still moving forward. 💪

Only 385 acres left until relaxation. 😎

Although, at this point, I’m pretty sure the second we say “We’re done!” something is going to spontaneously fall off.

So close… but apparently not without a little drama 🤔.
