Some congratulations are in order to our riders who competed at the KDA Summer Classic!

✨Sarah Younger finished her second level scores for her bronze medal with her thoroughbred, Bimini Twist.

🌟Bethany Miller finished her first level scores for her bronze medal on her Arabian, The Ascension SLG.

💫Emma Figg had a fantastic first show with her thoroughbred, Moontrack, showing training level. These two have only been together a few short weeks!

Sometimes it’s easy to feel like the little fish in a very big pond.

You look around the warm-up and see incredible horses, polished riders and everything looking effortless. It’s easy to wonder if you really belong.

But then I remind myself… we’re not all on the same journey.

Some riders are chasing championships. Others are celebrating their first centre line, a better transition, or simply a horse that stayed relaxed. And every single one of those achievements matters.

The scoreboard only tells part of the story. The real wins are the partnership you build, the trust you earn and the progress that no one else sees.

So if you ever feel like the little fish, remember this: you deserve to be in that arena just as much as anyone else.

Show up. Ride your test. Celebrate your progress. That’s what this sport is really about. 🐴💙

We have an opening for a working student! Responsibilities include general horse care, some riding and light teaching, and, yes, stalls. Must be reliable, kind to the animals, willing to learn, able to work independently, and prepared for physical work in all weather. Should like FEI horses, spotted ponies, and a cute baby. Compensation to include combination of lessons with Grand Prix trainer, board, and/or cash. Candidates must be approved of by the big chestnut mare who loves scatches😂
