THE REYLECK is cooking up something big 👩‍🍳

In the first Partners in Progress updates, we are featuring Casey Steele - Founder and Managing Director of Square One Rental Kitchen & Events.

Casey has been our shared-use kitchen expert. She has shared her insights on design and layout and selecting the kitchen equipment. Next, we move forward into a review of our operating plan.

So grateful for Casey's leadership and excited guidance!

The Reyleck will have a new 1,400-square-foot shared commercial kitchen—designed to help local food entrepreneurs start, grow, and thrive without the high cost of building their own space.

We have walls!

The framing is nearly complete.

Every day brings a bit more excitement.

We uncovered the two rows of wood pillars down the center of the bldg and discovered a rustic wood pillar underneath.

The pillars were wrapped in maple and painted white. This maple was preserved and will be used elsewhere in the bldg.

Our final floorplan:

- two flex spaces with front windows
- alcove with soft seating looking on to Grafton's main street
- 24-person conference room
- 12-person conference room
- 1,600 sq ft commercial kitchen
- large gathering space that will be able to seat up to 100 people, serve as a cowork space, host popup markets and restaurants
- office suite for the headquarters of the Red River Regional Council and its partner organizations such as the Walsh County JDA - and be a landing pad for our three other partner organizations when our remote team members, board members, etc. need to be here ... the Red River Community Housing Development Organization, Nelson County JDA, and Pembina County JDA.
- The mezzanine will also have room for four additional offices
