Folks in NWFL are posting photos of their rain gauges this morning with the enthusiasm of a newly born baby! LOL. And you will know who they bank with or where they buy their crop inputs. But in all seriousness, we are thankful for God’s provision, in His perfect time. We cannot make it rain, no matter how much we stress. We can only trust in God’s faithfulness to us. As a friend sent in a recent devotion text, “We’ve heard the gospel message and some have believed. But then when the troubles come do we follow His word and lead?” In Psalm 23:2-3 the Bible says, “2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. 3 He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” Sometimes when our souls are anxious, God forces us to be still and wait - for Him.
