Did you know our Farm Store has pumpkins right now? Even better- we have a corn maze for your kiddos to explore while you shop!

Fun fact: these pumpkins are EXTRA special because they were guarded by our farm dog, Clove! She spent the summer protecting them from deer and groundhogs, which means we have a LOT to choose from.

When he’s not representing Spring House Farm at the farmers market, Brady is busy making music! He was recently recognized as a member of the Senior Regional Orchestra at Woodgrove High School.

We’re proud to have Brady on our team and love seeing the many talents and accomplishments of the people who make up our farm community.

🍂 We've got pumpkins! 🎃

Fall has officially arrived at Spring House Farm.

If you’re ready to bring a little bit of the season home, we’ve got pumpkins and gourds available now—perfect for your porch, your table, or wherever you like to add a little autumn color.

And these pumpkins have a story: after spending the summer protecting them from deer and groundhogs, Clove’s hard work paid off. Last year we harvested only about 20 pumpkins. This year? A whole lot more. 🎃🐕

🐑➡️🎃 Clove has a new job this summer.

Our Karakachan livestock guardian dog, Clove, is usually found with the sheep, keeping a watchful eye over the flock. But since our lambs were born in late spring this year, Clove had a little extra time on her paws.

So we put her to work guarding something else: the pumpkins. 🎃

Last year, we tried growing pumpkins and ended up with only about 20. This year, things went much better—and we have Clove (and her excellent deer-and-groundhog patrol) to thank for it.

She may not be guarding sheep in this picture, but she's still doing what she does best: keeping a watchful eye on the farm. 💛
