Although stage I restrictions may normally allow some small campfires or cooking fires, DEQ has issued a total burn ban for all of north Idaho due to extremely poor air quality.

On top of these restrictions, we are also under a fire weather watch due to continued hot and dry weather with increased winds in the forecast.

State and regional fire resources are stretched very thin so let's all work together to keep our communities fire safe.
