Watch out for SHRINKFLATION!

We had a customer tell us our price on ground bison was higher than the big national brand. Well, actually, no. Sorry folks but sometimes we have to point out when the big brands are manipulating public perceptions.

We sell by the 1 POUND package 16 ounces! We have a really nice vacuum stuffing machine that ensures our packages give our customer exactly what we advertise. One of the big national brands sells in a 14 oz. package designed to give the impression of one pound. So, if you compare our price per package they may appear to be “cheaper”. But check the ounces! Do the math per ounce and we come out to be the BETTER VALUE ! I’m not gonna show the math in this Facebook post because some stores have different prices but in all the stores we have checked, our bison is the better value by far. Please don’t let them trick you! Buy from honest local farmers when you can!

More than meat.

While we are most well know for pasture raised Pork, Chicken, and Beef. We also have a few little side hustles. Pecan Pesto made from the basil we grow and make fresh every Friday. Bread and butter pickles we make from cucumbers we get at the farmers’ market. It’s our own low sugar recipe. We also have a small nursery where we propagate fig and mulberry trees. Buddy Boy Farm Dog Treats we make in house from dehydrating chicken parts. And finally, we sell fresh herbs that we pick from our garden as well. These little micro enterprises are mostly just for the Shreveport Farmers' Market. Come see us today 8-12.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND! 🇺🇸
We are open until 5 today and 9-3 tomorrow! We will also be at the Shreveport Farmers' Market 8-12!

Customers have asked me what we are going to be grilling this weekend. That’s easy. BISON BURGERS🇺🇸🦬🍔, half chickens, chicken leg quarters🐓, smoked sausage🐖, and McCain Farms ribeye steaks🐂. We are running low on
Mahaffey beef but are restocking next week!

We are so proud to steward this land and feed our community. There is so much to be grateful for. Generations of sacrifice so that we can live in the greatest country in the world. God bless the USA!🇺🇸

TOMATOES!

Y’all, seriously, every year around April people start messaging us asking about tomatoes. Warm weather triggers the cravings for garden fresh vegetables…. However, we PLANT our tomatoes in the spring and they have to grow for a couple months before we get the fruits! HERE WE ARE! End of June and we are running over with tomatoes 🍅! Please visit our store and load up! We also have purple hull peas and LOTS of other produce and meats!
