REGISTERED KATAHDIN HAIR SHEEP

We breed for parasite resistance and fast growth on grass alone. Minimal to no deworming and no hoof trimming in our herd. Along with no tail docking and no shearing makes a low maintenance, hardy breed, and docile temperament that can perform on pasture and fill your freezer.

We have spring ram lambs, one mature ram and a couple ewes and ewe lambs (some bred) available.

I have only seen stick bugs on one other property here locally. They are a rare treat to see! And this other quirky guy is a Carolina mantis. Assuming an egg case came on the high tunnel somewhere because they are actually not native to us.

2026 Umatilla County Fair!
Here's the first photo dump from a very long week!
This was our first time showing dairy goats and there was a bit of a learning curve, but overall went well. We were the only dairy entries so took grand (Ivy) and reserve (Fern). She had good comments on them both which was nice to hear as Im still understanding dairy traits.
Boys got all blues on their vegetable entries, Elias was champion for his age group in floral design and blues on the rabbit and pullet!
Sheep show pictures and videos will be another post.

Huckleberry Gold Potatoes are one of the in season items you'll find in our harvest baskets. They really make a statement with their beautiful purple skin and gold/white flesh. With a lower glycemic index than other potatoes they are a better option for those of you watching blood sugar levels.
