Choose fajita chicken, chili-lime Gulf shrimp, or chicken + shrimp.

We have a limited amount of shrimp, so if that’s what you’ve got your eye on, don’t wait too long. 👀

We’ve got a full week lined up at Flint’s! 🔥

A few favorites are back this week — the Fajita Burrito Bowls, French Dip Sliders, and of course Hamburger Steak Friday.

Saturday we’re bringing back the Blackberry Chipotle Pork Loin, and Sunday we’ll keep it simple with the regular menu before closing at 3 PM.

Labor Day preorder pickups will be Saturday and Sunday, so if you’ve got an order in, don’t forget to swing by and grab it.

Just a heads up — no Luverne delivery this week.

One of the biggest compliments you can get as a small business owner is being recommended in a room you’re not in.

When somebody asks, “Who should I call for catering?” or “Where should we eat?” and your name gets brought up by someone who has absolutely nothing to gain from it, that means everything.

Flint’s has come a long way, and we’ve still got a long way to go.

I know I haven’t gotten everything right along the way. I’ve missed a message. I’ve been late getting somebody a quote. I’ve taken on too much at once and probably dropped a ball or two that I wish I hadn’t.

But one thing I’ve never been willing to compromise on is what we put on the plate or how we take care of people when they trust us to feed them.

Every catering we get because somebody said, “Call Flint’s.”
Every new customer who says, “So-and-so told me I had to come try y’all.”
Every time I see our name tagged when somebody is looking for food…

That’s what keeps us going.

Advertising can get your name in front of people. A good social media post can get shared. But having people talk about your business positively when you’re not there to sell yourself—that tells me what I’m doing is worth it.

And we wouldn’t have earned any of it without the people who have eaten with us, hired us, shared our posts, recommended us, given us another shot when we got something wrong, and continued showing up.

So thank y’all.

Keep talking about the small businesses you love. You probably don’t realize how much those recommendations truly matter.

We’ve put together a few Labor Day Cookout Packs for preorder and pickup Saturday and Sunday. Whether you’re feeding the family or a whole crowd, we’ve got you covered.

Don’t need a full package? You can also preorder whole smoked butts, St. Louis ribs, brisket, pineapple jalapeño sausage and Alabama Twinkies à la carte.

Alright, we’ve heard it all week…

Y’all keep telling us the French Dip Sliders and Hamburger Steak need to quit being specials and just go on the menu. 😅

So… is that the consensus? 👀

Because if we make them permanent, that means we’ve got a couple spots open for some new weekly specials.

I’ve already got a few ideas rolling around… and I’m thinking hibachi might need a turn. 🤔

𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲. 😅

Even with us closing for a couple of hours this afternoon, y’all still showed up in a big way. We were slammed, wait times got a little longer than usual, and we even ran out of pork early in the evening. Turkey never made it on the smoker because it arrived late and frozen, so I definitely wasn’t as prepared as I should’ve been.

Somehow, in the middle of all that, we also pulled off a catering for 80 during the supper rush.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆’𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘂𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. We also loved having some McKenzie families stop by while they were in Highland for the game.

We’ll be open 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟭–𝟯, and we’ll have plenty of pork and turkey for anybody who missed out tonight.

Just a heads up — we’ll be closed briefly from 1:30–3:30 so I can go watch both of my girls at CCA’s pep rally.

We’ve got specials lined up this week, but Thursday is the one y’all have been asking us about over and over…
