Superior Fresh will be an industry-leading aquaponics facility specializing in leafy greens and coldwater fish species. We will raise top quality Atlantic salmon and Steelhead trout in a state-of-the-art land-based recirculation aquaculture facility in conjunction with premium produce grown in an ultramodern hydroponics glass greenhouse. Our ability to raise premium, fresh food year-round efficien
tly and sustainably makes us an excellent local food source. Our facility will be the first Atlantic salmon recirculating aquaculture facility (RAS) in the United States, also making it the largest aquaponics facility in the world. Our fish are free of hormones, antibiotics, PCB, and heavy metals; and our leafy greens are non-GMO and free of pesticides, herbicides, and mammalian fertilizers. Both the fish and leafy greens are raised in top quality groundwater, which is 99.9% recirculated. At Superior Fresh, we will produce the freshest product available year-round, all while maintaining a water sustaining zero-discharge facility.
