Still personally wrapping each and every one by hand on the banks of the Chippewa River.

It's really fun building up a custom rod for a fellow former Ranger.

The hyperlapse sure does make the process look easy! This is a custom-sized, two-handed grip in River Two.

I can also match your favorite rod grip if you can provide the specs or send the grip to me. Believe it or not, a custom grip makes a huge difference in accuracy and reducing fatigue.

Good luck to all going.

Nittany Valley Musky Alliance, Muskies Inc. Chapter 64 hosted The Prelude to The BEAST Open Water Musky Fly Tournament on Saturday. Musky are well known as the fish of 10,000 casts, and that number quickly multiplies when armed with only a fly rod and the will to do something amazing. The results of this tournament certainly reflected the challenge of mastering the art of musky on the fly as only 1 fish was caught. Congratulations to Billy Neff on a beautiful 41" tank to take the win and ALL the glory.

Next up: This weekend is the Region 3 tournament at Pymatuning. Chapter 64 is always well represented at the regionals and we're looking forward to seeing everyone there!
