The foundation & family behind Rafter 4 Ranch.
While, I’ve grown up on our little boutique ranch my whole life, it really became a ranch right around 2014. While there were a lot of others along the way, it really started with these two horses you see in the background of this photo. The yellow one The General is my youth horse, he did it all for me. Leo did a little something for each of us, he taught my brother, my mom, & my dad the real basics of cutting. He was also the first horse my husband ever rode. 2015 was when my entire family started showing cow horses at the foundation quarter horse shows. By 2020 we were on the road every weekend & started winning. That year in the midst of quarantine our ranch really started working. We had buffalo for practice, cows in the field, & 6 show horses in the barn. I won my first big title of high money horse that year. It saved all of us in a way, from the heaviness of the outside world. As my brother & I got older the showing became mostly just my parents. But we love to catch a ride when we can. Now the cutting (&our show horses) have moved to Texas. My little brother married the cowgirl of his dreams & Jonny & I have morphed the ranch into a new stage. Miniature cattle.
Just two years married & two years into our little business we remain just as dedicated to our dream as day 1. We promise to produce to you high quality miniature cattle & keep pushing forward as this little ranch fulfills yet another dream for us.
