It is also today - the perfect occasion to mark your calendars for our Revolutionary Cider Celebration on June 27 at Fishkill Farms in Hopewell Junction! It will be a day filled with Revolutionary War and Colonial-era history, farm experiences, and, of course, apple cider; here's what to expect:

• Orchard Talk Wagon Rides with Josh Morgenthau, Owner and Operator of Fishkill Farms. (11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m.)

• A Colonial-era Food and Beverage Talk with Sara Evenson, a food historian who studies the cultural creation of kitchen spaces in New York's 18th century. (12 p.m., 4 p.m.)

• Tales of Revolutionary Dutchess County told by Jonathan the Storyteller - Hudson Valley's Jonathan Kruk , the Hudson Valley's master storyteller. From a lively "Yankee Doodle" to the rousing British march "Gary Owen," Steve will provide a medley of traditional music from Revolutionary times. (2 p.m.)

🍓 It’s tiiiimeeeeee! 🍓

Organic strawberries are ripe for the picking at Fishkill Farms and the 2026 pick-your-own season starts on Tuesday, June 2nd! These sun ripened berries are juicy, incredibly sweet and await your harvest.

🎟 Reservations are required for Pick-Your-Own and can be made through the Pick-Your-Own page on our website. Reservations help us ensure that there’s enough fruit and parking available for all PYO guests.

🗓 As of June 1st, only reservations for June 2nd and 3rd are posted. We will add reservations for future dates as we get a little closer. Summer fruits, especially berries, are very sensitive to weather so we do not post reservations very far in advance–usually no more than 3 days ahead of time unless we are very confident in our supply. Reservations for weekends are typically posted by the Thursday evening before.

🍓Strawberry season typically lasts through the third weekend in June, but picking conditions are excellent right now. If you can make it for a midweek harvest, this is a great time to visit.

🛒Our pre-picked organic strawberries are available in our farm store while supplies last.

🍓 The first strawberry harvest of the year has hit our farm store, and berries are heading to the TaSH Market & Carroll Gardens Greenmarket this weekend as well (available while supplies last)! This is just the beginning, with more to come as the season progresses. We're keeping an eye on the weather, but we’re hopeful pick-your-own strawberries will open within the next week. Stay tuned for an official opening day announcement.

🍅 While our orchard team harvests and cares for the strawberries, our veg crew has also been hard at work this week staking tomatoes, cultivating plastic beds, and planting lettuce, melons, and cucumbers.

🍴New to our offerings: Grab & Go food options! We now have fresh to-go containers of items like curry chicken salad made with our jerk chicken, coconut rice & vegetables, chia seed pudding, potato salad, and more. Selections may change week to week. We’re so excited to offer this option for visitors looking for an easy farm lunch, snack, or take-home meal! Available for purchase both in our farm store and at the Treasury Cider Bar.

Looking for something to do this weekend?
🧘 Farm Yoga with takes place every Saturday from 9–10 am. Tickets are available online through our website.
🎶 Live music at the cider bar this Saturday features Chris Shamkin from 12–3 pm

🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day weekend! It's looking like a damp few days ahead, but we’ll still be here with the farm store open and cider flowing on the covered porch. Reminder: sign-ups for our Member’s Choice CSA 2026 season close this Monday, 5/25.

🧘 Farm Yoga led by local studio RedTail Power Yoga returns for the first time of the year this Saturday from 9-10 am! Bring comfortable layers, your own yoga mat, and get ready for a relaxing start to your weekend surrounded by fresh farm air and orchard views. Advance ticket purchase required, find them on our website to reserve your spot.
🎨 Please note that Painting en Plein Air scheduled for this Saturday has been canceled due to rain. Keep an eye out for details about the next session!

🌱 We are back at the TaSH Farmers Market in Tarrytown for the season! Find our seasonal produce and Treasury Cider at the market on Saturdays from 8:30 am-1:30 pm.

🍓 We know you're wondering... Our strawberry plants are flowering and on their way to producing sweet, juicy berries! Weather dependent, we anticipate pick-your-own strawberries to begin in early June - stay tuned for updates and the official opening day. In the meantime, stop in the farm store to check out the beautiful strawberry-themed table our store team put together.
