Crystal blue eyes. And coat is tan/white with a couple small gray moonspots.

UTD on CDT, worming, and copper bolus. Correct teats and weighed 33.2lbs on 8/4/2026. She is 5/6 on fainting scale.

Pest resistance is great, thriftiness is great -- she's got a good layer meat on her bones from pasture only. Feet are great. The only reason she's up for consideration is her conformation isn't quite what I'm looking for in a retainer doeling for my herd goals.

She had her first set of kids (triplets) this spring. This was her first time kidding through no fault of her own (I missed a large chunk of breeding season because of school keeping me busy). Raised them well, had no problems with her udder or her taking her kids. We did supplement one of her kids just to help her out a bit.

She's UTD on copper bolus, wormer, CDT. Weighed 68lbs 8/4/2026. Has been on pasture only.

She isn't quite fitting into my herd goals.

From the very beginning of our journey with goats we were tuaght that RedCell was a must for goat care dealing with anemia -- that it would help them recover faster. After a talk with veterinarians at the MU Veterinary Hospital for Food Animals, I learned that recent research points to it being less than useful.

They said that because RedCell is formulated for horses (creatures with one stomach) that it doesn't get to where it needs to go in multi-chambered stomached animals like goats and sheep.

For anemia recovery, MU veterinarians reccomended injectable iron like iron dextran.

I was surprised at this finding and figured others out there would be grateful in learning that RedCell may not be as helpful as once thought. Definitely continue to research and come to your own conclusions on what's best for your herd.

This girl is going to be SMALL -- potentially mini registerable when she gets to the age requirement.
She is polled, blue eyed, and ready on May 5th.
Fully registerable and will come with all the paperwork needed.
