It is Thursday May 28, here is what you can expect for the weekend. We do have some baked goods Friday, details below.

For fresh, organic veggies grown on our farm here is what you will find in the stand. Radishes, arugula bok choy, microgreens, chives, cilantro, salad mix, super salad (hearty greens mix with baby kale, herbs and other greens), oregano, rhubarb, peas pods (limited), spinach, salad turnips. Also in the cooler we have cold brew concentrate and duck, chicken and goose eggs.

Out on the counter look for a fun collection of locally crafted items like soaps, candles, tea, coffee, honey, jam, pickles, syrup, nut butter and more.

Baked goods Friday May 29, they will be put out at 11 am.
• Key lime pie: a lovely sweet, tart pie in graham cracker crust and with whipped topping. It says summer!
• Sour cream banana bars: moist bars frosted with a brown butter icing
• Lemon loaf cake: lovely when served with fresh strawberries or as a breakfast treat with a cup of coffee
• Peanut butter toffee cookies: a chewy peanut butter cookie studded with bits of toffee
• Sourdough bread: our traditional sandwich loaf

Update: bread is sold out. Pop up sourdough sales today at the farmstand! A local friend baked these organic, artisan loaves for us to sell. They are beautiful and delicious! Made from simple ingredients like organic flour, kosher salt and filtered water. Limited supply available.

We also have: Spinach, sweet salad turnips, super salad, salad mix, micro greens, bok choy, radishes, arugula, chives, chicken eggs, duck eggs and goose eggs.

Look for honey, maple syrup, nut butter, candles, soap, cold brew concentrate and fresh roasted coffee. We also have jam and pickles.

Located by the movie theater in Hudson, search Barlow Roots Market on any maps app to find us. We take cash or card at the self check out. Open Monday through Saturday 9 am to 7 pm.

Note: the self check out system is being a bit finicky. Please make sure your card transactions go through. We have an updated sign at the stand with additional instructions if you’re having trouble. Thx!

It is Thursday May 21. Big harvest day today to prep for the holiday weekend. Stop by and pick up some fresh veggies to enjoy! Also baked goods Friday, more details below.

Here is what we have in the stand today: Radishes, arugula, bok choi, mizuna, rhubarb, chives, super salad, salad mix, salad turnips, spinach, microgreens, chicken eggs, duck eggs, goose eggs. We also have a fresh batch of tallow balm, lip balm, loose leaf tea, homemade soap and candles, freshly made strawberry rhubarb jam, Barlow Roots pickles, honey, nut butter, maple syrup, coffee, cold brew coffee concentrate and tomato plants.

For baked goods here is the deal. We will put them out at 11 am on Friday May 22. First come, first serve. Here is the rundown.
Caramel rolls: perfect for Saturday brunch, these are cinnamon rolls topped with a buttery caramel layer
Rhubarb crisp: garden fresh rhubarb with a crunchy oat topping. Sold in an aluminum pan so you can warm it to serve with ice cream.
Scotcharoos: a family favorite bar topped with a peanut butter topping
Swedish almond cake: a moist loaf cake that travels well and can be a breakfast snack or serve it with berries and whipped cream for a quick and delicious dessert.
Chocolate chip cookies: enough said!

We will be closed as usual on Sunday but plan to be open Saturday and Monday. And will try to post a few updates as well. Open Monday to Saturday 9-7. Search Barlow Roots Market on maps app to find us, we are by the movie theater. Come down the driveway and turn right into the lot, the stand is in the garage. Cash or card at the self checkout.

Happy Tuesday! Here is your farmstand update. Watch the video for full details. Just sneaking this in but we will have our first baking day of the season on Friday. 😋 Details in our weekly email.

At the stand this week, we have chicken eggs, duck eggs, and goose eggs. Spinach, micro greens, sweet salad turnips, super salad, salad mix, chives, bok choy, radishes, arugula, mizuna, and rhubarb.

Additionally, you’ll find locally made soaps and candles. Looseleaf tea, lip balm, honey, maple syrup, Nut Butter, locally roasted coffee, cold brew concentrate, and cute greeting cards made by a friend of the farmstand.

Good morning from Barlow Roots Market! Your favorite farmstand in Hudson, growing and selling delicious organic veggies for your family to enjoy!

Here is what we will have for the weekend. Chicken, duck and goose eggs. Micro greens, spinach, sweet salad turnips, salad mix, super salad, Mizuna, green garlic, radishes, bok choy, rhubarb and chives.

We have a fresh supply of cold brew concentrate from as well as their fresh roasted coffee beans. We have nut butter, maple syrup, honey, loose leaf tea, lip balm, tallow balm, soaps and candles.

we are located by the movie theater in Hudson. We have a self serve checkout that takes both cash and card. We are open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM.

What a gorgeous day! We’d love to have you check out our farmstand located just south of the movie theater in Hudson. This time of year we have many varieties of salad greens and lots of good fixings for salads. Later in the year we will have all your summer favorites like tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, and more!

We have chicken, duck and goose eggs! And partner with a handful of local vendors as well selling honey, nut butter, coffee, soaps, candles and more.

Happy Monday from the Farm stand! We had a great first week, thank you! We added a new product over the weekend, that is worth mentioning. It is homemade tallow balm, we’ve been using it at home for years and love it.

Here is what else you will find. Spinach, salad mix, super salad, radishes, bok choi, microgreens, chives, arugula, rhubarb (limited), chicken and duck eggs, honey, syrup, nut butter, soap, candles, tallow balm, fresh roasted coffee and cold brew coffee concentrate.

The garden is in deep hibernation these days, and your farmers are doing well! We’ve been resting and spending lots of good time with friends and family.

We actually ate a few tomatoes from the garden, as well as the last of our lettuce from the garden a couple weeks ago. We’ve now stepped into the sad season of life where we are eating grocery store lettuce. 😢

We’ve started planning and buying seeds for spring and look forward to getting back in the soil. Admittedly we do also enjoy this quieter season as well.
