FROM THE MOUTHS OF BABES…

The National Alpaca Show was held this weekend at the Fort Wayne Coliseum, and one of the most rewarding parts of owning alpacas is watching people experience them for the very first time.

Young and old alike stop, smile, and laugh when they see these amazing animals up close.

We shared a particularly sweet moment with the parents of a young boy who noticed one alpaca resting in the classic ‘cush’ position and announced with great concern:

“Look! Those don’t have any legs!” 🤣

Moments like these are just one more reason we love sharing alpacas with others.

SWEET VISITORS…
These little cuties braved the cold and traveled from Fort Wayne this morning to feed the alpacas and shop in the gift store! ❄️🦙🥶

Next week’s temps look to be a little more ‘bear’able! 🧸

Guests are welcome to stop in the barn and visit with the alpacas during store hours!

SANTA DELIVERED EARLY…
Santa’s elves were extra busy at their fiber mill this season! 🎄 What’s usually a 10-month lead time was magically shortened so the fleece from Hidden Acres was finished just in time for Christmas.

Our homegrown, 2-ply, 200-yard DK weight skeins are now ready to go under the tree for the knitters and crocheters on your list. And don’t worry… we won’t say a word if you decide to keep these luscious fibers for yourself!
