The amount of kudzu on this project is crazy. The goats have obliterated everything from the ground up to about 6 feet and are trampling the remaining vines. Hidden under the kudzu is lots of privet, sweet gums, and various other brush and saplings. We went in yesterday evening and cut many of those down so the goats could remove more kudzu that was unreachable. This is not a step we do on every job but we felt it would be beneficial for the long term control of the kudzu on this property. 5 days ago you could not see or walk through this area. The transformation has been incredible. We informed the crew that a hurricane was coming, so they better knock out these final few areas so we can get them back to the ranch before the wind and rain arrives. We checked on the herd’s progress on their current job yesterday afternoon. This area is heavily covered in Kudzu. The pictures are less than 48 hours apart. They are making great progress.

The crew just finished up a job in Talladega. It was a little over an acre and a half, and it took them 6 days to complete. Other than a few of the crew members not wanting to load last night, this was another successful job. 🐐🌱🤪 #

We have been extremely busy the last few weeks and haven’t had time to go through all the pictures and videos but we wanted to share a couple real quick. The crew made quick work of a recent project. The 24 hour transformation was incredible. They are currently working on a project at one of our neighboring properties before heading to Cropwell and Pell City for a couple of jobs.

The crew made quick work of this project. In less than 24 hours they cleared everything from the ground up to 6’. We loaded them up and dropped them off at the next site. We can’t wait to see the transformation.

The babies are growing fast. They’ll be 2 weeks tomorrow.

Our oldest doe, Bryanna, had another set of triplets (2 boys and 1 girl) this evening. She had triplets in the spring but was unable to nurse them, so our plan was to remove her from breeding. It appears just after kidding in the spring, she and Felix crossed paths 🙄. So here we are again with bottle babies. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Some incredible “Before and After” pics from our most recent project. This project was just under one acre of hilly terrain and the crew knocked it out in 4 days.

We had a heavy rain come through the other day while the goats were down front. Their route back to the main yard was flooded so we had to adjust the virtual boundaries and bring them back on the driveway. Apollo continues to hone his herding skills.
