Congrats to Velma for obtaining her last UKC Finished pass to obtain her finished title,HRCH, and qualify to be able to run the grand! She was able to get thru shortly after her puppies went home in the pouring rain at conowingo hrc at a beautiful farm in Maryland. Many thanks to Joseph Bradley at Rivanna Retrievers for her 3 week refresher before the test and training in the past. Thanks for the amazing breeding by Cathy Jeter Scroggins. Velma is a very special gal with the biggest water entry of all of our dogs we’ve had. We were hoping to run her daughter,daphne, with her in finished this spring but nature decided to make us hold off until the fall. (Yes we recycled the picture it was pouring rain but same location)

Marcie has done really well at hrc started hunt tests getting a pass last weekend in maryland in the pouring rain and one this weekend in emporia va. She is 2 for three with hrc so far. Hoping to get her two passes in re*****on, va next weekend. She really is a joy to handle. Many thanks to Joseph Bradley at Rivanna Retrievers for his crash course in training for her and the wonderful breeding by Three Horses Chesapeakes Maria Okolita and Christine Tanzosh Tiano

Next thing to focus on is prettying up for pictures and then off to shows!
