Major restock happened in the farm store this week! Pork and chicken were restocked earlier in the week and beef this afternoon. That means the most popular items we were out of are now back 💥 Ground beef, bacon, stew meat, chicken breasts and whole chicken and yes, even steaks!

Stop out for your weekend needs, we’re open daily for self-serve from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 🐮

Our last post was talking about being out of ground beef (for the first time in over 7 years 🤯, but more to come very soon), but there’s still plenty of options available in the farm store 🛒

The “Backyard Bites” bundle is available all month long and includes several easy grilling favorites. Don’t forget about hotdogs, snack sticks, brisket, chicken, roasts, pork chops and lots more to choose from too!

Come shop from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily at the self-serve farm store, and we’re also available by appointment if you prefer to have some help 👍

We ran out of ground beef for the first time ever last weekend 🤯🤯

While I hate to run out of such a staple, it’s an important milestone because we typically have an imbalance of ground beef to steaks, roasts and other cuts. Selling at an even ratio means we can butcher more without certain cuts piling up, so this was actually a pretty cool thing to have happen!

With that said, my goal is to never run out of ground beef again and we are working to butcher extra to keep everything stocked.

We took steers to the butcher last week and have more to take this coming week, so there’s plenty of ground beef, steaks and much more on the way 🙌

Thank you for your continued support of our family farm and for keeping your dollars local. I feel it makes a difference for everybody 💪

While I was doing milking chores this morning, I saw two baby birds fly from their nest. One landed in the hay and the other decided that Millie’s back would make a suitable first landing. Happy Spring! 🌱🐝🌷
