Today for National Farmer’s Day we celebrate Brad that started this business more than 25 years ago. He works so hard to grow the nicest trees. He works on planting each spring, controlling the w**d growth around the trees, the endless mowing between the rows, fertilizing so they have the needed nutrients, and individually hand shearing each tree to their perfect shape so they look so nice as your family Christmas tree. Thank you, Brad! 🌲

Whew. August is more than halfway gone and we haven’t shown you the growth we had this year. The late frost in April did affect some of our smaller trees as you can see in the first and second pictures of the dried growth, but overall this year’s harvestable trees have had some beautiful new growth. The smaller ones affected will likely bounce back next year, they just lost a year of growth. Next steps are continuing mowing, w**d control, and shearing them to keep their beautiful shape and be ready as a future Christmas tree. 🌲🌲

Happy Earth Day!

We finished the majority of our spring planting! We continued expanding the farm and did lots of interplanting where trees were cut this past season or if last years tree didn’t survive. The trees planted this year will be ready in 7-10 years depending on the size and the variety when harvested.
