Since the apple crop isn’t as large as normal, we have some time this year to do things we normally can’t -like like fall herbicide applications to tackle tough perennials. Nobody likes poison ivy but it’s hard to beat for beautiful fall colors!

We had the most delicious dinner at Thunderhead Lodge tonight! Get there and try the Chef’s Risotto and the French Apple Cake (made with local favorites😉), soooo good!

We don’t always find just apples when we’re out picking. Case in point- this tree frog was hiding out while we were getting the final Crimsoncrisp. The Crimsoncrisp will be in market starting Thursday….frogs sold separately!

The biggest PICK-YOUR-OWN APPLE weekend of the year is coming this weekend: October 1st-4th! We’ll have Melrose, Suncrisp, Idared, Golden Delicious, and Rome Beauty available for picking and many other varieties in the market. Lots of c***r (pints, 1/2 gal, and gallons), veggies, pumpkins, gourds, fall decor and baked goods too!
