We have recently concluded our Boer kidding season and commenced our new dairy kidding season, incorporating the new does purchased last year and those supplied by supportive families following the fire.

Although kidding was limited, it was successful with beautiful healthy kids, with of course an over abundance of bucklings…. Go figure, however, We are thankful for the healthy and robust kids.

Planned pedigrees for our doe and buck combinations will be shared, highlighting promising buck prospects.

Our farm has expanded its focus to include Purebred Lamanchas, along with where our heart lies…our Purebred Nubians.

It's been some time since our last update. This year has presented its challenges, particularly with the transition to our new barn and introducing maiden does to our herd. Fortunately, our Boer herd's kidding season yielded a favorable 70% doe ratio, despite numerous requests for wethers from families. We're grateful for the exceptional quality of our kids this year, thanks in part to the genetics of our new buck, Enzo (aka Cuzco). With Enzo and Black Lincoln's influence, we've had outstanding kids that we anticipate will excel in show rings and enhance our herd. We apologize to families whose project needs we couldn't fulfill this year due to ongoing recovery from 2025 losses. Please contact us early for next year's needs to secure a spot on our list.

We are most grateful to our December does for providing us with some of the finest kids we've seen, with several sired by our new young buck.

Thank you to all our Pickaway County Fair families who have already reserved their projects for the upcoming year; we're almost at full capacity.

We're now eagerly awaiting the arrival of kids from our January does, followed by those from our February does.

Feel free to contact us of your needs for subsequent fairs, as we do sell out.

All dairy goats are expected to kid in early March.
No rest is planned for the weary🙄😊o
