On Wednesday our doe Stormy kidded for the first time and produced triplets. Two girls and a boy. The first born is a tiny little girl who can’t weigh more than a pound. All three are doing wonderful and nursing good so far. We are keeping a close eye on the littlest girl but have positive thoughts about her.

This is what survival looks like at just a few days old…These bottle-fed babies are just a few of the many vulnerable newborn kittens being found all over the Northern Neck—from Colonial Beach to Lancaster, and even over the bridge in Essex County.

They are arriving cold, fragile, and completely dependent on usšŸ™€

Our new incubator—made possible by you—is giving them a chance they wouldn’t otherwise have. It gives kittens like these the warmth and stability they simply can’t survive without.

Because of your support, these tiny lives are still herešŸ’•

If you see a newborn kitten, don’t scroll past this—save our page or share this post. When the moment comes, you’ll know who to contact and what to do. (804-250-6551)

So we haven’t posted much but not for lack of something to post about. Lots of happenings so prepare to be indulged with lots of make up posts in next couple days.

On Saturday we welcomed a new goat to our farm. She was the daughter of a doe born to us! Her name is ā€œSquareā€. Affectionally named by our son & best farm hand Patrick. She has a white spot in her side in the shape of a square. 😜
