WOW! What an unforgettable day!

McClendon Farms had the incredible opportunity to participate in Texas Farm Bureau ‘s Summer Ag Institute and showcase our farming operation to amazing educators from all across the State of Texas!

We loved getting to meet with educators and sharing our storefront, cattle operation, garden and farm! We had the opportunity to take the group on a field visit to our corn before it’s harvested and show them a demonstration on corn shelling!

A huge thank you to Strickland Farms for joining us and sharing ALL things grain with the group! 🚜🌽🌾☀️🥩

It is an absolute honor to carry on the farming heritage and legacy that came generations before us. We are incredibly proud to live and raise our family on our farm since 1887. Despite the ever-changing landscape of our community, this land is incredibly important to us and it is our privilege to continue farming and serving here in Lavon, Texas!
