The menu featured a delicious lineup of Elote Corn Salad, Pork Carnitas Tacos with Chipotle Crema and Salsa Verde, Pinto Beans & Rice, and Chocolate Cupcake with Mexican Hot Chocolate Frosting

For September 29th's service, Lemon Tree featured a delicious lineup consisting of House Salad with Hot Honey Ranch, Smash Burgers with Caramelized Onions and Roasted Garlic Parmesan Aioli, Sweet and Spicy Sweet Potato Fries, and Pumpkin Spice Bread with Cinnamon Glaze ✨

For September 24th’s service, Lemon Tree featured a wonderful lineup consisting of Tossed Green Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette, Three Cheese Shells in Tomato Sauce, Herbed Italian Rolls, and Cannoli Cake.

September 22nd's lunch service featured an incredible lineup of Deviled Eggs with Sweet and Spicy Bacon, Cod with Creole Sauce, Basmati Rice, Twisty Breadsticks, and Key Lime Pie ✨

The bacon used in the service was purchased locally from Broadbent's Country Hams!

September 17th's lunch service featured an amazing lineup of dishes including Fried Green Tomatoes with Creole Sauce, Hot Brown, Honey Butter Cornbread Poppers, and Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream 🍨

The garlic and tomatoes were purchased locally from the University of Kentucky South Farm, and the cornmeal used in this service was purchased locally from Weisenberger Mill ✨

Last Tuesday's lunch was a delicious service featuring Butternut Arugula Salad, Rosemary Onion Focaccia, Herb Chicken Thighs, Gnocchi with Pumpkin Parmesan Cream sauce, and an Apple Crisp with Ice Cream 🍨

The butternut squash, onions and rosemary were purchased locally from the University of Kentucky's South Farm.

Lemon Tree featured an incredible lineup of dishes for its September 10th service. The menu included, Wedge Salad with 1000 Island Dressing, Pulled BBQ Pork, Mashed Potatoes, Southern Green Beans, Cornbread, and Pineapple Upside Down Cake ✨

The bacon was purchased from Broadbent's Country Hams and the cornmeal was purchased from Weisenberger Mill both here in Kentucky.

Last Tuesday, Lemon Tree held its first service in Scovell Hall! The service featured an incredible menu with Italian Salad, Parmesan Garlic Focaccia, Sun-Dried Tomato & Basil Chicken, Lemon Herb Orzo, and Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cheesecake ✨

The chicken used for this service was purchased from Clem's Refrigerated Foods here in Lexington, KY!

Lemon Tree Cafe kicked off the Fall 2026 semester this week with a mock service on Monday, allowing the students to become acclimated to our amazing new Teaching Kitchen at Scovell Hall! We're excited to be back and look forward to sharing all the amazing work from our students and chefs in the coming weeks! ✨🍋
