A few of the flowers catching our eye around the farm lately. 🌸

Some days you walk through the fields and just keep finding another flower worth stopping for. A new color, a perfect bloom, or a combination you didn't expect.

We’ll be bringing plenty of fresh flowers to Quarry Park in Rocklin this Saturday from 9am–12pm. Come find your favorites and take a little bit of the farm home with you.

And if you love dahlias, we’re also getting closer to Dinner in the Dahlias on September 26th, an evening of seasonal food, live music, and dahlias in full bloom right here at the farm.

We’ll be at Taylor’s Parking Lot from 9am–12pm with fresh flowers and some of our favorite farm goods.

The fields are changing fast right now, so there’s always something a little different in the buckets each week.

A little bit of what’s blooming around the farm right now.

The dahlias are starting to steal the show, and honestly, we’re not complaining. There’s something about this time of year when the fields are full of color and every flower feels like a little surprise.

It’s also why we love this season so much. These are the same flowers that will be surrounding our table for Dinner in the Dahlias this September.

Apparently, the chickens have a pumpkin problem. 😂🎃

This pumpkin started growing from the scraps we gave the chickens last year, and instead of pulling it, we decided to see what would happen.

Well… it took over the entire Silkie coop. They actually seem pretty happy about it, hiding underneath and enjoying the shade.

It’s amazing what will grow when you just leave things alone and let them do their thing.

Dinner in the Dahlias is coming back to the farm, and we can finally share the two people helping make the evening happen.

Food Simply () will be creating a five-course seasonal dinner, and Ben Cole () will be joining us for live music as the sun goes down over the farm.

Zinnias are having their moment

Bright, cheerful, and hardworking, these summer favorites just keep blooming. The more we cut, the more they produce, which makes them a favorite here on the farm.

When we hosted our very first Dinner in the Dahlias, we hoped it would feel like more than just dinner.

We wanted it to feel like gathering with friends, slowing down for an evening, and sharing the beauty of the farm during one of our favorite seasons.

Kinda chic to do the hard work every day and find the beauty in it.

Forever grateful to be able to experience all of this. The hard work, the flowers, the seasons, and all the little moments in between.

And honestly, that feels pretty chic to us.

Lots happening around the farm this weekend.

We’ll be at Taylor’s Parking Lot in Loomis tomorrow from 8am to 11am with fresh flowers, eggs, honey, and our usual farm favorites.

Then on Saturday, instead of heading to the Rocklin market, we’re doing something a little different and having a farm garage sale right here at La Bella Vito Farm.

Come browse, wander around the farm, and say hello to the piglets, guinea keets, and our 100 new chicks while you’re here.
