She was all fluffed up trying to keep her egg warm. Look how big around she looks! 1/2 that size walking around 😂. Healthy as can be with organic feed. Still giving me stink eye!

In a sweet little stretch of forest on the slopes of Haleakalā, five ʻalalā continue to thrive. While our field team still makes supplemental food available, we delight in witnessing these captive-reared birds foraging for native fruits in their forest home.
