Apple Hill Orchards Family Owned Orchard and Farm Market Apple Hill is a family owned and operated orchard and farm market in north-central Ohio.

We offer home-grown apples, peaches, pears, plums, and cherries in season, many are available on a pick-your-own basis. We press our own cider from late August through March; an in store bakery makes pies, breads, cookies and our own famous apple donuts; there is a deli and an observation beehive in the store. During the fall season there are special events that include, hayrides, PYO apples and pumpkins, petting zoo, pony rides, balloon man and more.

We had to make some not-so-fun phone calls this week and cancel the cherry orders we received. 😢

Unfortunately, the farm we partner with for our tart cherries — along with many farms across Michigan and Ohio — experienced severe crop loss from the late spring frost.

This freeze impacted more than just cherries. Many strawberry and peach growers have also seen significant damage to their crops this year.

We appreciate everyone's understanding and patience. If we're able to find another source for cherries, you'll be the first to hear about it! 🍒

On a brighter note, our own peach crop is still looking great as of now. 🍑 We know there's still time between now and harvest, but we're feeling optimistic and look forward to the season ahead.

Farming always comes with a few bumps in the road, but we're grateful for your support through all of it. ❤️

Diane just sliced up a fresh batch of our classic Apple Hill Slice!

We've had lots of messages, comments, and calls asking about the peaches! 🍑

There was one scary cold snap that had us a little worried, but we're here with an update for you:

As of now — and a lot can change between now and late July — the peaches are looking good! 🎉

Anne and Chad have been braving the heat and hard at work pruning the trees. Pruning helps improve airflow through the orchard, which means less disease pressure and bigger, juicier fruit. 🍑☀️

So sit back, relax, and enjoy this 50 seconds of orchard tranquility. 🌳✨

Ordering will run through Saturday, July 11th.

Here’s how ordering works:

📞 Call and place an order for either:
🍒 10 lb (comes as two 5 lb bags)
🍒 40 lb

Our cherries are individually quick frozen (IQF), which helps preserve freshness and makes them easy to use — no giant frozen clumps! Perfect for pies, jams, smoothies, baking, and more 😊

📅 Closer to harvest, the farm will confirm final pricing and delivery dates.
(We anticipate pricing to be similar to last year: $49.99 for 10 lb and $164.99 for 40 lb.)

☎ Once details are finalized, we’ll call to confirm your order, pricing, and expected delivery date.

Then all that’s left to do is pick up your cherries and start making something delicious 🍒🥧
