We will miss having our regular Joe Fargis clinic weekend but are sending lots of love and healing thoughts to our friend Joe and grateful that Devin could join us last minute!

Fantastic horse show weekend at the Sedgefield Hunter Jumper Classic!

📬 Gaspar Mail and Lauren Trembath hit the ground running at their first show together winning 2 classes in the 3’3 Older Large Juniors for Champion as well as a win in the Hamel!

⚔️ Conquest and Julia Stamatakis won 2 over fences classes and the under saddle for the Champion in the Older Children’s Hunters. Quest also won a class in the 3’6 Greens with Nick aboard.

🐻 Cesandro and Allie Robards won an over fences and the under saddle for Champion in the Younger Children’s Hunters with 2nd in the Classic.

🎶 Duette and Katie Preuss had great ribbons in the Long Stirrup and “Deena” also took the Champion in the Baby Green Hunter with Nick aboard.

🧊 Gayfield’s Way Too Cool and Zella Williamson stepped up to the Large Children’s Ponies for a win in the Children’s Pony Equitation with good ribbons in the hunters their first time in the division.

🌮 Camexico and Lilly Williamson had good ribbons in a large Low Adult division and finished in a close 2nd Place in the 2’6 Junior/Amateur derby with 2 big scores in the mid 80’s!

Thank you to Hailey for all the hard work at the horse show and Allyson, Jess and Sophia for keeping things running at home. We have a great team and are looking forward to kicking off a busy fall schedule the next few weeks as we finish up the end of the year strong!

It's a sad day at the farm when the one everyone always asks about is finally available.

We are out of kids for the absolute best pony and she is offered for lease to the very best of homes only.

Walk Trot - Children's Pony Superstar!

Poppi does it all from toddler up down lessons to the 2'3. She is the kindest, safest, most reliable pony you could ever ask to have in the barn. She will give the most nervous rider confidence or bring home all the blue ribbons for your ambitious, aspiring division kid to get their feet wet before stepping up.

Never looks at the jumps. Auto change. Little to no prep (may need a baby lunge in the dead of winter) and normal maintenance.

"Konan Z" - 2009 16.2H Warmblood Gelding. Fondly known as "Cozy" around the barn, Konan is ready to teach his next child or adult the ropes at the 2'6. Take advantage of this guy's years of experience and mileage at all of the major venues on the East Coast, Indoors and Medal Finals. Let him use his expertise to teach your novice rider in the Short/Long Stirrup or Low/Child Adult ring. Quiet, very straightforward, simple program and maintenance.

Can be tried in Camden until the end of September before returning home to the Triangle.

We have a couple of great ones available to fantastic homes!

1. 17 y/o Irish Sport Horse gelding. Tons of mileage in the 1.0 Amateur Jumpers including Champion HITS Ocala, Circuit Champion Aiken Spring Classic. Also does the hunter job! Recently show leased to do the Adult Equitation at NCHJA Annual and Children's Hunters at Blowing Rock. Fantastic "poor man's" equitation horse that will double duty in the hunters or derby ring. Normal maintenance and prep. Easy to live with. Not for a total beginner. Lower 5 figure lease.

2. 14 year old Westphalian gelding. Proven small junior with ribbons at Junior Hunter Finals 2025. We have had this one on short term lease and loved him! Honest, quiet, with a great lead change. Wonderful practice horse type to help step a kid up from the 2'6+. Has taken riders from the Low-Childrens to the 3'3 Juniors. Creative lease terms, possible lease to own. Mid 5 annual lease.

Annie and Konan already kicked off their partnership with some ribbons in big company over the weekend in Tryon. 🏆

Thank you to the Bartee Family for allowing us to find Konan his next kid and to Sonja Boorman at Timberwagon Farm for always providing the cushiest landing for lease horses in between jobs and for helping to facilitate his next adventure!
