The Anderson Horse Barn located in Milaca, MN was designed and built in 1971 by Lloyd T Anderson, Sr. From the beginning, this horse facilty was managed by Lloyd and has been a successful horse operation for many years. Many quarter horse people in Minnesota and surrounding states may have at one time taken riding lessons from Lloyd, attended one of his week long clinics or possibly bought one of his well trained and bred quarter horses. Sadly, Lloyd’s wife of 65 years, Lee, passed away in January 2018 and Lloyd then moved to Willmar, MN to be near his son and grandchildren. Due to Lloyd’s generosity, long time mentorship and friendship, Lloyd is now leasing this horse facility to Beth Crook.
Beth began her career with Lloyd when she was 10 years old and has never left him looking for bigger or better things. Beth knew that Lloyd was the ideal horseman and in turn, Lloyd allowed Beth to train and show many of his very best horses...Decks Mr Chant, Gotta Getcha Some, Native Impressor, Treasure by GG and last, but not least, Gona Getcha Good just to name a few!!! Gona Getcha Good is the last horse bred and raised by Lloyd and trained by Beth.
Beginning May 1, 2018 Lloyd began leasing this historic horse facility and barn operation to Beth Crook to continue offering and maintaining what he started back in 1971. The barn is situated on 17 acres, located about 2 miles southwest of the city of Milaca. The barn has 13 indoor heated stalls, a heated indoor arena for winter riding, a large outdoor arena and plenty of back country roads to trail ride on. Come by for a vist or contact Beth through text message if interested in looking at the Anderson Horse Barn for your horse.
