Want a little extra time in the saddle without a structured lesson? Open saddle time gives approved riders the opportunity to enjoy one of our horses independently on our property. Riders can practice previously learned skills, relax and enjoy the horse or simply spend some extra time riding at their own pace. THIS IS NOT AN INSTRUCTIONAL LESSON, and coaching is not included but supervision is. Riders must demonstrate that they can safely steer, stop, mount, dismount, and handle the horse independently before participating, All riding stays on the property and in designated riding areas. Horse selections is based on rider ability and horse availability.

Saddle for sale!!

15 inch seat 7in gullet dark leather tooled roping saddle. I lost a lot of weight and I don’t fit in it anymore, it’s been used a handful of times, so it still looks new. It’s sturdy saddle but I need something that fits me. I bought it for $600 so 350 obo.

Practicing Mindfulness With Horses
Slow down, step away from the noise of everyday life, and spend peaceful time connecting with horses.

Practicing Mindfulness With Horses is a gentle, non-riding experience designed for adults and seniors who would like to enjoy the calming presence of horses without getting in the saddle.

Participants can spend time sitting near the horses, grooming, petting, observing herd behavior, hand-walking when appropriate, and simply enjoying quiet time outdoors.

Each session encourages participants to focus on the present moment through their senses — noticing the horse’s breathing, movement, warmth, sounds, and surroundings.

No horse experience is necessary, and activities can be adapted for different comfort levels and physical abilities.

This experience is designed to encourage:

• Relaxation and quiet reflection
• Connection with animals and nature
• Mindful breathing and awareness
• Confidence around horses
• Gentle social interaction
• Time away from everyday distractions

Sometimes the most meaningful moments with a horse happen when you aren’t riding at all.

No students were harmed in the rodeo. Just us old instructors. Finally got permission from Kendra to post this. 🙈😬 I think Kendra and I are getting too old for the rodeos and she has officially been permanently banned from the one race.

Please support us by coming to City Council tonight
The City had issued a formal determination that reclassifies our business as a "New or Unlisted Business Use," which means it currently has NO legal path to keep operating unless the City Council votes to allow it. This wasn't a case of us doing something wrong — it's a new process being applied to shut down a business that is dedicated to serving this community's kids.
This matters for more than just us. If the City can do this to a licensed horse lesson business, it can do it to any small home-based business in Mt. Pleasant.

🗣️ Speak up: Public comment is open to any resident — even 2 minutes matters, even if you don't live in the area this can still impact our youth in sanpete.
