Mini grain bin?! Nah, it’s actually a new roof going on a Zimmerman dryer. Two of our crews teamed up at this ethanol plant to handle the roof install along with new spouting work.

Two crews, one goal, and another satisfied customer.

Could we have carried these by hand? Probably. 😅 But a little humor and a good crew help keep the long days fun.

Once these are in the field they are going to be doing a TON of work. These freshly built drag conveyor paddles were fabricated entirely in-house to match the exact specs needed for the system they’re headed into.

It’s a simple part, but one that takes constant abuse day after day as grain moves through the conveyor. Wear resistance, fit, and build quality matter a whole lot when thousands of bushels are moving across them every hour.

Did you see this amazing story?? What would you do if a fire 🔥 destroyed part of your operation? Last fall, this facility lost their Zimmerman 5000 dryer. Instead of patching things together or backing down, they made the decision to rebuild stronger.

What followed was a massive collaborative effort between our Custom Dryer Services crew and our Fergus Falls, team including:
✅ New BCT 7000 dryer
✅ New legs and conveyors
✅ Tower reinforcements
✅ New catwalk systems
✅ Major grain flow upgrades across the site

Most of this work happened through rough winter conditions in December and January. So that by the time the next season rolled around they would be back up and running. A perfect example of resilience, planning, and bouncing back.

Pictures don’t even begin to show how massive this project really was. THREE 120’ receiving legs, ONE 120’ tower. All tied together with a full staircase system inside. 👀 And the crazy part? This was only a small piece of the overall Mechanicsburg project.

The amount of planning, steel, equipment, and coordination behind builds like this is hard to wrap your head around until you’re standing underneath it looking up.

Projects like this are why our crews take so much pride in what they do. This isn’t just construction, it’s building infrastructure that will serve this operation for years to come.

A rare quiet moment for this machine. 💤 Fresh off a long job, our material handling crane is back in the warehouse for a wash, inspection, and a short breather before heading back out again.

Most of the time this machine is lifting steel, setting equipment, and helping keep projects moving. Right now? Some much needed maintenance and care so it's ready for the next project.

A dryer can make or break harvest. When conditions aren’t ideal, having the right setup means you can keep rolling instead of waiting on the weather to cooperate.

This BCT 4000 from Brock Grain Systems, a Division of CTB, Inc. is going to give this operation a lot more flexibility during harvest season. It's a solid piece of equipment we’re proud to install.

You can have the biggest dryer and the nicest bins around… but if the controls behind them are outdated, the whole operation is probably going to feel it.

Today’s systems often involve multiple dryers, conveyors, legs, fans, monitoring systems, and grain routing processes all operating simultaneously. Trying to manage all of that manually during harvest can get overwhelming fast.

These electrical panels being built in our Napoleon facility are designed to become the brains behind the operation, automating processes, monitoring equipment, and helping everything work together instead of fighting itself.

That can mean:
• catching problems faster
• checking systems without driving bin-to-bin
• improving grain flow across the site
• reducing shutdowns and bottlenecks
• and making better decisions when harvest gets hectic

The goal isn’t to make farms more complicated.
It’s to make complex operations easier to manage.

Everybody sees the crane. 😮 What they often miss is the coordination behind the entire process.

These replacement projects only go smoothly when every person involved is locked in and working together. This jump conveyor and catwalk replacement took all three working as one team to make it happen safely and efficiently.
