When's the last time you upgraded your operation with some new equipment? A new dryer day is a pretty good day. Our crew recently unloaded and installed a new MC E 700 grain dryer at a local farm. Increasing their productivity and adding flexibility during harvest.

Big thanks to Mathews Company for building quality equipment and to our crew for keeping the project moving.

We believe when components are built for the project, installation goes smoother and the finished system is better prepared for the demands of daily grain handling.

Remember that recent local co-op project we posted a few days ago? This is where the legs started.

Custom fabrication helps us account for the realities of the site. Meaning once the project is complete, you end up with the perfect system to meet your needs.

A few weeks makes a big difference. πŸ‘€ This feed mill project is starting to take shape thanks to our Napoleon Millwright crew.

It's always fun to look back at where a project started and compare it to where it is today. More updates coming soon.

The faster grain can get unloaded, the faster trucks can get back to the field. That is one of the biggest reasons to consider a receiving pit.

During harvest, every minute at the dump point matters. A properly sized receiving pit can help reduce truck wait times, keep grain moving into the system, and make unloading more efficient for both farms and co-ops.

It also gives the rest of the grain handling system a more consistent flow to work with, instead of relying only on how fast each truck can unload.

For many operations, a receiving pit is not just about convenience. It is about improving the flow of harvest. How is your harvest flow?

Before the entire grain leg goes up, the tower has to be ready to carry the load. These early-stage construction photos showcase some of the most important parts of the project.

A grain leg tower has to support more than just the leg itself. It also has to account for platforms, bracing, access points, conveyors, spouting, wind load, and the movement that comes with handling thousands of bushels per hour.

That’s why every connection, brace, and section matters.

Our crew is making progress on a new grain leg tower at a local co-op. Stay tuned to watch this project take shape.

Most people look at this photo and see a grain bin. Our crew is looking at the next 30 years.

They're installing a conveyor bridge support structure on the side of a new bin at a local co-op. It won't store a single bushel, and most people will never think twice about it.

But years from now, when grain is still moving reliably across this system, structures like this are a big reason why.

Shout out to Eric, Jacob, and Brody for putting in the kind of work that often goes unnoticed. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ The best preventative maintenance prevents the emergency downtime phone call later.

Recently, these guys were performed a full spectrum of preventative maintenance in an MCC room, checking over the systems that help keep an operation running day after day.

It's not the flashiest work we do, but it might be some of the most important. A few hours spent inspecting, testing, and maintaining equipment today can save a lot of downtime tomorrow.

This is where it all starts. πŸ‘€ Right now it's just a sheet of steel sitting in our TRUMPF Inc. laser. In a few minutes, it will be part of a grain leg, conveyor, platform, receiving pit, dryer support, or a custom part headed to a customer's operation.

One of the things we enjoy most about fabrication is seeing raw material become something useful. Every major project starts somewhere. It's amazing how much can come from a single piece of steel.

One of the biggest challenges in grain drying is making sure moisture is removed consistently throughout the grain column. Temperature, airflow, grain depth, and outside conditions all play a role in the final result.

That's why modern systems like this Brock Grain Systems, a Division of CTB, Inc. dryer do much more than just add heat. They're carefully designed to manage airflow and grain movement so moisture can be removed as uniformly as possible.

The goal isn't simply dry grain.

It's grain that's dried consistently and ready for storage.
