Good evening, Bee Friends!
Some of you may have heard that an accidental fire occurred in our warehouse at the bee farm yesterday evening.
White Hall Community VFD and Navasota Fire Department acted swiftly to contain and extinguish the fire - and we are extremely grateful for their efforts!
Most importantly - nobody was injured or hurt.
However, due to the damage caused to this building, our store front will be closed for the next several weeks whilst the necessary restorations are made.
That being said, our office is still open and our bee crews are still out working to prepare for the spring 2026 season.
We do not anticipate this causing delays in our Queen, package bee, or nuc production.
One thing I’ve learned in the last 25 of being in a beekeeping family is that beekeepers are a resilient and resourceful bunch! This is a pretty big hiccup, of course, but we shall move forward with the determination of a hive of foraging bees!🐝
