Unmistakably Hawaiian without ever feeling cliché. This Maui wedding reception, planned by Destination Wedding Planner, built on the island’s natural beauty with floral illustrations, sculptural installations, and little glimmers of gold.

We looked to Art Nouveau, a style known for curves inspired by flowers and vines, and gave it a slightly surreal twist.

Native florals by Revel Theory | Lux Floral Design Hawai’i and Creative Botanicals Maui LLC, organic staging, and Ceci New York’s immersive design elements, introduced by the matching invitation, came together to enhance the landscape rather than competing.

A Hawaiian wedding designed around a single monkey pod tree.

First introduced on the back of the invitation card, the monkey pod is known for trunks that twist together as they grow, a symbol for two lives intertwined.

Further inspired by Art Nouveau, a style known for curving lines that echo nature, the invitation featured floral illustrations wrapped in custom watercolor vellum, while touches of gold added depth and a mystical glow. From the es**rt card wall to the menus and day-of accessories, that same story carried through every detail, each with coordinating illustrations.

A Hawaiian wedding ceremony design rooted in the land it was held on.

At Makena Golf & Beach Club, native florals by Revel Theory | Lux Floral Design Hawai’i and Creative Botanicals Maui LLC softly lined the aisle, and the cliffs and ocean did the rest. A local kahu opened the ceremony with a traditional Hawaiian blessing.

For guests, the celebration began with the Ceci New York invitation, designed in the Art Nouveau style with flowing, nature-inspired lines that felt right at home on the island.

Then a vintage red Porsche Speedster from Maui Roadsters whisked the newlyweds off to Hotel Wailea, where the celebration, and our designs, carried on into the night...

Years in the making, the x Royal Forest collection has finally arrived, complete with the Party Dress and the Coat.

This reel takes you behind the scenes to only a fraction of everything that went into bringing the final designs to life: custom painting woodland creatures and florals, defining every element, refining every detail, and going back and forth through countless samples and long nights. We combined ’s signature watercolor artistry with ’s own craftsmanship to create something entirely new, made to make any little girl feel special.
