Should have posted this weeks ago, but I’m still speechless and awestruck at the generosity of these people:
I applied for a grant to buy a canopy for my mower, from my N.C. Farm Bureau folks. I have had several bouts with skin cancer and really needed this as I mow several days a week, sometimes 6 - 8 hours per day in the hot Sun. I was discouraged to discover that the canopy I wanted (lightweight, made in USA, UV resistant, and tough) was not in my budget.
Surprise!!!
Luke from N.C. Farm Bureau, and Lee from CoolTops, showed up at my farm and Lee mounted the most perfect canopy on my mower! I asked Luke if this was really happening, and he said, “Yes, Lee wants to do this for you.”
Luke and Lee, you are truly miracle workers!
I’ve been mowing heavily for a few weeks, and this canopy is amazing - slices through tree branches, does not bounce around in my rough terrain, and keeps me cool.
I cannot thank you enough, my horses and my family cannot thank you enough! I come home at night with enough energy left to handle chores and enjoy family.
