This Saturday, The Art of Sneakers, Vol. 3 is bringing sneaker culture, art, workshops, and creativity together as part of Oakland Style. The daytime event runs 11 AM to 6 PM at 45 Grand Avenue, and it’s free and open to all ages. visitoakland.com

We had such a good time tasting Longman’s Gin from Oakland and Jettywave Gin from Half Moon Bay, meeting new people, sharing a few pours, and learning more about these California craft gins.
We love being able to support local makers and bring those discoveries to Howden Market.

The Oakland Black Cowboy Association’s 52nd Annual Parade & Festival is happening today at DeFremery Park, celebrating the history and contributions of Black cowboys and cowgirls.

The festivities run 10 AM to 6 PM, with live entertainment, line dancing, food, local vendors, youth activities, and plenty of community spirit. Visit Oakland
