The Wine Associate

The Wine Associate A journey to share wine stories while writing my own: Achrimère Wines Many years ago, I decided to buy someone a really nice bottle of wine. Let me help.

I loved drinking wine, but really knew nothing about choosing a good bottle. I began researching and found that this beautiful fermented beverage has a storied history and so so so much information. I was immediately enamored with the idea of learning everything there was to know about wine. I started my own wine consulting company and was quickly snapped up by a distributor as a key account manag

er-then regional manager-then brand manager. I created an award-winning wine program for a ski & golf resort in Northern Michigan (with 3 restaurants). In addition, I planted a 5 acre vineyard on Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City. 'Achrimère Wines' had it's first harvest in 2017. The industry is ever-changing & growing which means I continue to learn on a daily basis. I am here to help the wine novice and the connoisseur. No one should be intimidated by wine. I was once and decided that I would never be again.

A few days with the mini tractor and it finally looks like a vineyard again 😅

Trying to stay ahead of the w**ds before they completely take over the rows. And by ahead of the w**ds, I mean behind…these were what was left from last year😳.

For reference: mini tractor = self propelled w**d whacking

Tractor fund open for donations….

Who loves the Boathouse??? 🙋‍♀️🙌

First day on the veranda this year. I have to say, I was actually pretty happy that I had to wait for a seat at the bar. I wanted a lovely glass of Sancerre in the sun. Pure solitude.
