We love using our microwave for cooking our sweetcorn. Put it in a gallon Ziplock bag with it cracked open and 2 minute...

We love using our microwave for cooking our sweetcorn. Put it in a gallon Ziplock bag with it cracked open and 2 minutes each side. It locks all the juices and flavor. Plus, you can leave it in the bag till ready and it stays hot.

In the store, the husk looks a little yellow, but our first picking is still amazing, "Gotta Have It". There's several dozen in the store and next week we will start in on our second planting as it ripens.

Still plenty of Spring Honey on the shelves. We will begin our huge Summer Honey harvest next week before the goldenrod and aster begins to bloom. It's exciting to see what our bees have produced this year in flavor and color.

And, more Chocolate Old Fashioned Homemade Ice Cream is being cranked later today.
